Pornography is not the Problem

Pornography has been linked to so many violent crimes including mass murders, school shootings, sexual crimes and abuse. No doubt it is one of the leading causes of broken relationships and divorce.
Conferences are being held nationwide on the problem of “internet pornography” and other venues of looking at those things we should not.
However, Internet pornography is not the problem. Nor is the production of other images that defile the soul.
You see, long before mankind had the availability of these images, we have had the problem of an impure heart. You can image the wrong things without any type of material. It all starts in the heart.
The wisest, richest and strongest over the centuries have been taken down by lust, which comes out of an impure heart.
When you get to the root of the matter, the heart, and make it pure, then all the surface problems, like internet pornography will clear right up.
Let’s make it our goal in life to have a pure heart. You will be glad you did.
